Carlos Pizá

General Manager of Communication

From September 2020 to June 2026, he was Head of Media Communications at Endesa.

Previously, between 2018 and 2020, he worked as Business Correspondent for Andalusia at El Confidencial.

From 2015 to 2017, he served as Andalusia Correspondent for Reuters while simultaneously holding the position of Business Editor-in-Chief at Publicaciones del Sur. In addition, between 2016 and 2020, he founded, directed, and hosted 7 Economía, Andalusia’s first television program dedicated to business and economic affairs.

Before that, he was Andalusia Bureau Chief for elEconomista (2011–2015).

Between 2009 and 2010, he served as Head of Press and Internal Communications for Spain and Latin America at Grupo Oesía. During this period, he co-founded Enova, a publishing company specializing in renewable energy.

From 2007 to 2009, he worked as Senior Business Reporter at Grupo Joly. Previously, between 2004 and 2007, he was Senior Business Reporter at the Seville bureau of Expansión. In 2004, he worked as Business Correspondent for Andalusia at Cinco Días.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Seville (1996–2000), a Master’s Degree in Journalism from El País / Autonomous University of Madrid (Class of 2002), and a Master’s Degree in Reputation, Brand Management, Communications and ESG from Esade (The Global CCO, Class of 2024).
